(Los Angeles, CA) – PMBC Group’s client Christien Tinsley, prosthetic designer of FX’s American Horror Story is being recognized for his work in the Outstanding Prosthetic Makeup Category with an Emmy Nomination. Tinsley is sharing nomination credit with Eryn Krueger Mekash, Department Head Makeup Artist; Jason Hamer, Prosthetic Designer; Michael Mekash, Makeup Effects Artist; Hiroshi Yada, Makeup Effects Artist; Christopher Nelson, Makeup Effects Artist; and Kim Ayers, Makeup Effects Artist. The winners will be announced at the Academy of Television Arts & Science’s Creative Arts Awards and Ball on September 15, 2012.

Tinsley is a two-time Emmy nominee in the category of “Outstanding Prosthetic Makeup for a Series, Miniseries, Movie or a Special” for his work on Glee (2009) and Nip/Tuck (2003). He has worked on other prominent television shows such as Prison Break and Sons of Anarchy. Having worked with Joel and Ethan Cohen over the years, Tinsley has created memorable villains such as Anton Chigurh (Javier Bardem) in No Country for Old Men and Lucky Ned Pepper (Barry Pepper) in True Grit.
