The International Consumer Electronic Show (CES), is a prominent technology trade show for industry professionals and companies held annually in Las Vegas, NV. Running from Tuesday January 7th through Friday January 10th, 2014’s first day revealed an extraordinary collection of technologies to come.
A particular topic of interest today appeared to be wearable devices. Wearable technology has the potential to be a $30 billion dollar industry by 2018. Nike presented the NikeFuelBand SE wrist band that can send and receive messages, take phone calls and play music; LG displayed ear buds that measure heart rate and another anatomical levels.
Samsung’s Ultra HD TV’s are another popular trend at this year’s show. These televisions produce remarkable pictures at four times the resolution of standard HD televisions.
