Comic enthusiasts rejoice as the 44th annual San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) convention kicked off Thursday. The event is a historic mecca that allows individuals to indulge in an environment of American comics and pop culture. With so many headlines occurring, here at PMBC Group, a Los Angles PR Firm, we felt it was necessary to recap some of SDCC’s hottest trends.
Generating plenty of buzz around the San Diego Convention Center is the preview of Marc Webb’s “Amazing Spider-Man 2,” which reveals young Spidey’s newest rival to conquer, Electro, played by Oscar winner Jamie Foxx.
Adding to the hype is fellow super-hero Superman celebrating 75 years with a Comic-Con costume tour. Fans will have the pleasure of checking out threads of the iconic “red and gold S-symbol” from 1978 to the present.
And as the final season of the Showtime hit “Dexter” came to an end last week, the stars came together for one last hurrah to join the series’ executive producers to acknowledge fans for their support and dedication to the show.
Make sure to pay attention closely as many more headlines are sure to arise at this year’s SDCC.
