Nito, a facial tracking app and client of tech PR firm PMBC Group was featured on International Digital Times this week. Nito allows users to map their facial expressions and voice onto 3D animated avatars. Top animation studios have signed with the app to create promotional content using their characters. Nito’s avatar characters include aliens, monsters, sharks and more as well as a variety of fun backgrounds to choose from.
To create a cartoon character in real-time users turn on their front-facing camera on their iOS device to track their face and control an avatar that will imitate their facial expressions and movements. They may also morph their voices to integrate directly with their avatar of choice. Users can record up to a 15-second video to share through direct messaging and popular social media platforms. Nito’s remarkable technology and real-time rendering ensures that the videos they record are top-quality and that users really feel connected to their avatar, making Nito the progressive way for users to better engage in online media exchanges.
The app is free to download and user-friendly, with no animation experience required. As of now, the app has 12 avatars to choose from, but soon users will be able to create their own avatars as well as choose from an expanded range of new avatars.
