(Los Angeles, CA) – Susan Tompor of USA Today, recently spoke with PMBC Group‘s client Scambook, the online complaint resolution platform, in regards to how consumers can protect themselves before the scammers, who are getting a jump on the holidays, begin to start laying the groundworks of this year’s holiday shopping scams.
Miranda Perry, a Staff Writer at Scambook, told Tompor that last holiday season, Scambook saw a lot of websites popping up from China that showcased large deals but with “oddly worded descriptions of designer items.” The drastic decrease in price for a designer item is a huge red flag Perry warned.
Tompor goes on to list the various things to watch out for as early as mid-October. To read the entire article click HERE.
