Opening new lanes of innovation, Tooshlights, a client of Los Angeles-based tech public relations firm PMBC Group, can decrease bathroom traffic and increase the flow of business, both in regards to bathroom business and surrounding retail and concessions businesses in high traffic venues. The innovating lighting system was recently featured on the site Al.com.
High volume venue bathrooms deserve Tooshlights’ LED stall signaling system. Currently installed for the public’s viewing pleasure at The Hollywood Bowl, the lights let patrons return to their seats faster to not miss a second of the show. Red lights installed above the stalls signal occupied while green lights signify available restrooms. Customers then know which bathrooms to enter, cutting down restroom wait times by up to 50%.
Showing patrons which bathrooms to enter, Tooshlights also restores privacy to those in the stalls as individuals no longer will have to walk up and down the rows of stalls to peep between cracks and look under doors to determine its occupancy. This will restore comfort to all of those in the restrooms looking to take care of business.
Co-founder of Tooshlights, Allen Klevens, recently unclogged the truth about busy restrooms, disclosing to Forbes in a recent interview that bathroom wait time can be attributed to a plethora of factors but primarily unseen vacant stalls in the middle of stall rows. Patrons are simply unaware of where to move.
Klevens plans to offer interactive components of the Tooshlights system, some of which will incorporate their technology into a venue’s app to show which bathrooms are closest to their seating section and just exactly how many stalls are available. Those managing the venue can also change the lights according to whether a stall is unavailable and needs maintenance. They will even have the ability to know when and which bathrooms are used the most to organize the retailers and concessions appropriately in their venue. Last but not least, Tooshlights may install lights that can flash the colors of the home team signaling a scoring moment for those in the stalls. Tooshlights gives the green light on to this entrepreneurial project that backs up the public’s right to privacy, and accelerates the speed of enjoyment at venues.
