Most of us are against animal cruelty, yet many of us consume factory-raised meat unknowingly.
San Diego based non-profit organization America for Animals came up with a solution for people who want to know what they are eating, and are working on a mobile app that will help people find restaurant options which serve vegan and vegetarian dishes, as well as humanely raised meat.
The organization is aware of the fact that typically, people are not always concerned about where their meat came from before they eat it, however, their mission is to share knowledge, and show the options of cruelty-free choices.
America for Animals’ database includes over 16,000 establishments that are “cruelty-free.” Their aim is to help people make conscious food choices through their “Humane Eating Project.”
Here at PMBC Group, a Los Angeles based Technology and Health & Wellness PR Firm, we are always interested in seeing how the latest apps can help to improve our daily lives.
